All I Have...

"What kind of praise does a God who doesn't change deserve?

What kind of love do you give to the One who gives it first?

What kind of song do you sing when you don't have the words?

What kind of gift do you bring to the Maker of the world?

Just give it all

All

Just give it all

All

I know You're the God who rewards the one who gives their first and last

I know You're the God who won't leave me with an empty glass

I trust You Lord with every little thing I have

I'm open-handed in surrender, there's no holding back (come on)

I give it all

All

I give it all

All

This morning I sit with hot cup of heaven and bypass the word in favour of pouring words upon the screen. Direct hit to spirit and soul with words from a blessed, wise woman of God sharing her heart...

'to be grateful for what we have while being sad for what we lost.'

"Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13-14

And I sat in stunned silence...you see dear treasures, we share grief to encourage, to bring others into the fold of comfort, of grace, of peace...

With those few words I step a little lighter, sing a little louder, love a little harder...

These past days have been full of wonder and gratitude...thankful for new souls met, for connections made from last years deployments with wildfire cementing opportunity and further employment.

These past days have been full of heart to heart conversations with a wise older man speaking truths from deep within...soul connection not looked for but gained with love and respect for an elder within the First Nations community.

My heart is full, wishing to pour out upon this page...alas time does not allow, however, know this my friends...God gives opportunity to love, to move in grace and humility...He gives occasion to move upon paths not foreseen, paths of such wonder you will sit in awe, in thankfulness, in love for a Father who never leaves, nor forsakes.

May you go this day in the knowledge of your worth, of your place in this world and among people known and unknown. There are those who have need of your particular light of love, may it shine bright as the sun; with warmth, with mercy, with truth...

As I meander down Forest Service Roads once again, meeting new souls, greeting old acquaintances, I will speak with grace, with comfort; and pray for every lost one finding their way free, for each survivor struggling to put feet to the floor each and every day.

There is a way, there is always a way my friends, do not despair. This too SHALL pass, truly...I have seen it, been in it, through it and passed out the other side to wander a wasteland of broken pieces and places rife with sorrow. Joy comes in the morning, noon and night once again...it does and will for you, I promise!

Go with God this day and each day forward knowing you are loved without reservation or measure, always.
