Alone...

Alone with my thoughts...I sit in silence and contemplate...

Alone with my feelings...I sit with music softly playing and reflect...

Alone in sickness...I lay... knocked off my feet...quietly recalling memories of nursing sick children...and all the way back to childhood I recall my mother tending me...young and into adulthood she had a way of mothering without smothering....of caring...of loving no matter the age.

Alone with problems in need of solving, I contemplate possible outcomes...Alone...

Alone dear hearts is ok. Oh, there are times I feel lonely but alone is becoming au natural...is becoming the norm...is becoming the best thing to happen in a long time. Alone we are free to choose our path without fear, without thought of reprisal or harsh criticisms...without judgement we may step out on this journey we call life and truly live each moment as it is meant to be lived...with love, with kindness, with compassion...with acceptance.

I truly believe that there will come a day... someone will step into place, into time with you...with me... and fit perfectly. Will love you and I where we're at, for who we are...celebrating our differences, our quirks...

'There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear' 1 John 4:18

But until then...forging our own unique path is a priceless treasure...moments of grace, of beauty to pull out and examine later...snapshot memories....like quick time flashes they grace our minds with pride, with feelings of warmth and love...layering over the past until it no longer exists, no longer intrudes into our times of peace, of contentment, of living life to the fullest. Like a bad dream...it floats away in the new light of day...disappearing more and more each day, to be reminded of only when necessary to justice, to doing the right thing.

Alone...but never truly alone...friends, family, co-workers... the list goes on and on, filling our lives with joy, with new skills, with adventure. God is our ever present help, our ever present comfort and joy in all situations...giving us the ability to overcome, to stand tall and proud and speak our truth...Always present no matter where we are, or where we go.

Go with God today dear hearts and know this...you are infinitely worthy, limitlessly lovable, unflaggingly precious, special and lovely. Always...celebrate your differences, your uniqueness...they make you who you are...
