Faith...

'Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.'

Faith without borders...without limitations...without constraint...

I truly believe that without faith, without hope we would perish as a people, as a race. So many walks of faith, ways of worship and belief; we are drawn to something bigger than ourselves, something better...a specific something that gives us a higher calling, a path to betterment. Whether your philosophy is as simple as the ten steps to health, or as complicated as the Koran...whether you believe in Buddha and his edicts to peace and contentment or believe in a Heavenly Father who sent His son to save us....we all, everyone of us seek enlightenment.

This morning I sat with my first cup of heaven, preparing my mind for the day of work ahead and the responsibility of two young workers... I was reminded of giving time to the one who I worship, who I adore and believe that in my worst moments of fear and supposedly imminent death was there...held me up when I believed myself alone, unworthy and unloveable.

Despite, or perhaps because of the tumultuous times, I have come full circle around to a strength of faith I haven't felt since my teen years....

I have cried out.... I have bent in the mighty winds of appalling violence, distress and torturous hours but... have not lost the roots, the foundation of belief and protection.

I have cried out...and was heard, seen, felt...and saved.

Oh dear hearts...this is my prayer for you....that you would know your worth, your place in this world...that you would see how very special and unique you have been made, been created to be. Remember this...God doesn't make mistakes. 'You are fearfully and wonderfully made...'

You have a place....you are loved without reservation, without condition, without the need for fear of failure. God doesn't make mistakes....I clung to this idiom, this mantra and would wake each morning, when in the midst of the battle, and say...'God sees me, He doesn't make mistakes and He didn't start with me...'

You are loved...needed....necessary....

I know you're tired dear heavy hearts....you are not alone.

I know you despair and see only darkness, with no way out....there is a way and one who knows exactly where you are. You are not lost...you are seen, heard and known and I truly believe that He will make a way for you. Hold on dear friends...hold on.

Go with God today...and every day. May He make His face to shine upon you today and be the light in the darkness...'perfect love casts out all fear.' 1 John 4

'And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.' John 1:5

May your feet guide you, find sure footing on the path you tread. May you have eyes to see and ears to hear in the midst of the darkest of storms. God be with you all.
