When exactly do we begin to believe the lies? Exactly how does it begin? Insidious, creeping comments that sink into your mind and take root. Watered with snide remarks, disrespect, stepping... no leaping past your boundaries despite your pleas for them to stop and on and on it goes.

We think... this is just a bad day. He's having an off day, or is stressed. He's been ignoring me because of, you know.... life. This is what we're told by them.
