Imagine...

Imagine....oh just imagine what we could do...imagine what we could SEE...If only:

...we put down the phones...

...we put away the conversations had or will have with so & so who looked at me wrong...

...we put to bed the all-consuming need to distract, to step out, in check-out city...

...if we looked, really looked at our children to understand, to see, to find wise decisions, to protect but more, to support and guide as they make their own decisions...

Imagine what would change if we only:

...loved more...

...gave more...

...judged less, condemned no more those who are not the same, don't believe the same, live life differently and with less mess left behind us in a cloud of flies feasting on shame, guilt, remorse and abject despair. Freer to love completely without the weight of past wrongs, past doings...just free to be present with whoever we choose to love, to give kindness to, compassion flowing out like a river and ebbing back in...

Imagine what could be done when we put away the distractions of Twitter, instagram, facebook, snapchatt, whatsapp, youtube...and on and on it goes until what filled the hole previously no longer has the staying power and so you go deeper and find yourself in places you shouldn't be and promising yourself you'd quit later, after this time...until you no longer feel that twinge of conscience, just something buzzing quietly in the background.

Just imagine the glow-up those we love would feel as we take time to speak, to understand, to put away childish things and live in a world of love, no matter where that man or woman, child or adult, may be in their lives at any given moment. In return? Oh dear friends, in return we are awash with grace, with a sense of self confidence in the giving and knowing that some day, we may find ourselves in a place where conflict no longer exists on this plane.

Yes, i know...peace on earth, goodwill to man and all that stuff...all that stuff just makes sense. Aiming toward peace and an understanding that law must hold man to principles and morals or suffer consequences (an aim that falls far from the mark in many regards for acts against women) must always be the goal...to better oneself, to grow and learn and find wisdom in every day lived.
