Good morning Dear hearts...this morning I sit and contemplate what true freedom is...it is not acting above the law...not acting out against your countries edicts set in place to keep the masses safe, to give peace in times of trouble...no...it is much more profoundly important to ones self, to ones principles and boundaries...true freedom is the right to speak...to think...to act in accordance with what resonates within, without fear of reprisal or punishment...

Some months ago it was suggested to me that I stop writing...that I hide my truth...everything inside me rebelled...in fear in the moment I talked of this idea...

In a moment of clarity I saw that once again the victim, the survivor is asked to hold their truth, their conviction inside...repress your feelings, sit in your isolation and suffer whilst the true monster runs their mouth...continues to live as they always have, without fear of conviction or being penalized...

Oh no...no...no...no....I set my mind to speaking my truth...and have continued to do so in the hopes of helping someone else...not for the man I left behind, not to punish or goad...he is one among many...nothing special, nor unique...the words and actions so familiar the more women I come in contact with...perhaps with some creative and imaginative peculiarities....otherwise just your garden variety abuser who lives life believing they are above the law, above average humans...arrogance in motion...fantasy thoughts of grandeur and importance...

No dear hearts....you are not alone and they are not better than everyone else...they are the same hurtful, deceitful jokers, goofs if you will thinking themselves a cut above the masses.

Speak your truth my friends...it is pure quintessential freedom....speak it for you...for others who may need to hear they are not alone...for those who need hope, need the encouragement to stand tall and walk proud...out and away, knowing their worth...

Oh what a different world we would live in if every woman (man) did this...the 'cut above' jokers would see their true reflections in the mirror each one would throw up, showcasing their true colours...forcing the abject abusers to turn tail and run from their propensity for evil, for torture...stopped at the front lines, at the gate...no passage forward until change is made....

In the meantime, we stand....we speak our truth with dignity and grace, with love and forgiveness...but we speak it, no longer hiding our unwanted shame in the shadows...proclaiming from the rooftops our right to feel, to speak, to know our worth...without a backhand physically, mentally, verbally or emotionally...

Standing alone is preferable to living in fear...preferable to living in constant sorrow and shame...it is only when we step out that we come to a true knowledge of our worth and feel the wroth that comes with mistreatment, with being brought down to the depths of despair...being treated like an animal begging for scraps...

Please hear my heart this morning dear lost ones....you are NOT the person they have made you to be...

you are smart

you are lovely

you are the opposite of every dirty, poisonous word they have spoken over you...

You are free to fly...free to know a real love full of kindness, of compassion, of intensity of feeling...

They speak lies...now it is time to speak truths...to reveal the darkness that has been a part of your life....to shine a light into the dark gloomy places....you see dear ones, they speak in riddles to hide their own shame, their own knowledge of their true selves buried deep...

You are more than what has been done to you...you are more than the hideous things perpetrated upon your person, upon your sweet spirit, upon your kind and loving heart...you are much more than the monster in your life, so much more.

I pray for you today that you find your path, that you find your way to freedom...that you will truly see the situation for what it is and the strength and courage to move forward.

You are worthy of a magical kind of love...always....

Go today in grace...in love and compassion and forgiveness....lift your heads dear hearts and walk tall....
