Living...

There are days....where just living feels hard...feels as though my feet and legs are encased in mud, or that waist high snow all us northerners have slogged through...exhausting. I know I am not alone in this...I could reach out to either side, before and behind and touch so many who are going through it...getting hit two, three times by bad news and still getting up and doing their job...still smiling and living, finding joy in the moment whenever it comes. Life sneaks up on you and slaps you in the face when you least expect it...however, it is our reaction..our response to these levelling life events that creates the environment we live and breathe in. Our actions when outside influences flow in like a tsunami, sweeping us off our feet, drowning us in emotion...our emotions set the pace and can bring peace or create discord.

I hope you hear my heart this morning as I pour out the overwhelming journey that is healing...no easy feat for the survivors of Trauma, the survivors of abuse and extreme narcissism. It is a moment by moment choice to lift your head to the skies in awe and wonder, in prayer...to place one foot in front of the other, staring down the fears that bubble to the surface of the mind...to consciously and continuously choose to forgive, to send prayers of healing and thus release the past...release the sorrow...release that person to the only one who can find that broken child within and reach their mind and spirit....

The relief...oh the great relief it is to release them to their fate, to their maker...their creator. The things stolen from me....time, sentimental items, tools....are only things that can and will be replaced, will be returned a hundred fold. This I believe with all my heart.

The wisdom I have attained is priceless and precious to me....I would not have knowingly chosen that path to wisdom....but I will take what positives I can find...another process of healing and living out our purpose on this earth.

Dear hearts, you have a remarkable purpose on this earth...unlike anyone else...each one created uniquely and masterfully. You are loved...unconditionally...truly.

Go with God today my friends...may you know the warmth of His presence, the kindness and compassion of His giant soul, the deepest well of love that never shall run dry. Walk in that knowledge today, walk in that confidence...that you were created for life, for love, for joy unceasing. No one and nothing can take that from you, it is your birthright.

So...stand tall, stand proud and walk with confidence and grace, giving out kindness where needed. Smile with a sure knowledge of your place in the here and now...strong, brave and true is who you are...capable of all that you put your mind to.
