Not an Idiot...

Halfway through the day and I feel the need to sit back at my laptop and write...

Long before I made the crucial escape to save my life, I saw...I knew...I perceived...

What was thought to be secret...hidden...concealed...was as obvious as the nose on his face.

What was thought to be a game well played...what was given as truth and believed to pass muster...as apparent as his lack of ability to satisfy in any way.

Just like that I was a prisoner once again...

Just like that, mere days in...the promises were forgotten, the words in stark contrast to the actions carried out.

No creativity...just re-working the old modus operandi and arrogantly thinking it would work again.

Nothing new...just the old unboxed and used again...and again...and again...the pure definition of insanity and narcissism. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Never learning from mistakes, from experiences that are meant to shape us, mold us, change us...oh no...no dear friends...that would be anathema to their false ego...would require strength of character, honour and integrity.

They will move on to the next, and the next, and the next and admit no wrongdoing except to assuage the authorities, to play the get out of jail card by doing the counselling program completed so many times before that it could be easily done in their sleep.

Ah my friends...the red flags you see, feel, hear and know are the true character peeking through the charming outside shell. They are the real person making their way to the surface, the parts of themselves that cannot be hidden nor completely camouflaged.

We are worth so much more than what awaits with someone with this psychopathy....listen to your heart...pay heed to the little things that shock you, alert you...take a day, a week, a month....if they truly want you they will wait...true colours will show themselves if we listen closely enough...

Remember who you are dear hearts...dear treasures....warriors, Queens/Kings....stand tall, walk proud...speak your truth and watch as those who would seek your pain and your destruction fall to the wayside.

You will love better...live better...laugh better....freedom to choose is our right...use it and live the life always meant for you, a good life full of loving kindness and compassion. Expect in return what you give out...
