Oh My Soul...

I sip hot coffee and ponder...I wander and muse, ruminate and dissect...pick up this string and follow it to the next, and the next and lay each down for further later contemplation. Today I learned that a mistake was made and so my moment for justice pushed down the road to later August...a moment of frustration and then sheer laughter at the absurdity of timing...of the Hand of God...I believe in the deepest part of my spirit that it is not a mistake but timing...serendipity...fate...the planning of a God I know loves and moves for a greater justice, for a greater purpose.

I sit in joy this morning...I allow it bathe my soul and thankfulness once more for the path I am on..for the opportunities presented...for the grace to write and to feel...numbness and dissociation fleeing all corners of my mind, my spirit, my heart... my emotions slowly returning to a normal playing field....oh do not mistake my intent here dear hearts. Pain resides, sorrow dogs my steps...but oh...the peace that passes all understanding has come to live in me and I thank God daily, moment by moment...betrayals, fear of reprisals no longer sit in darkness with me...

Dear friends...this is the light that beckons...freedom from fear...a life filled with love, kindnesses, compassion and grace. I have tasted the goodness that awaits on the other side of that mountain and found it to be filled with the light that shines into the darkest of spaces, the deepest of places...

Stand tall dear hearts...stand tall and know your worth...speak your truth with grace and dignity and understanding...but speak it and watch what God can do!...speak it and see your transformation begin...you speak for you and for every other woman (man) going through hell and coming out the other side, dying for encouragement...for someone to shine a light, to show the way. You are worth the truth, are you not? You are worth standing for queens and kings, each one of you...worthy of all that is good and lovely and life-giving...

Stand now dear lost ones and survey the land before you, filled though it is with pitfalls and traps and snares, the light of Love will guide you...the Glory of God fill you with purpose, with strength, with the courage of battle worn soldiers...and step out on to the path of life, of light, of love...May God surround you with His comfort, His grace and His everlasting Love today and every moment forward. You are meant for more than this...whatever the 'this' is in your life right now. You are meant for more and you will make your way there, I know it for I am making my way too and I see the land of promise, the light of freedom and will never go back to that prison, will never look back to the land of Egypt and all the grief it held for me.

There is far too much to explore, to see, to know that does not involve sorrow, betrayal and abuse. God richly bless you today with His love and comfort...and remember...'Love saves us.'
