Soul Deep...

Soul deep thoughts simmering on low, lost in the background to daily and nightly tasks...set on repeat, sifted and sorted quietly behind the scenes as life is lived, work completed and relationships tended to. I sit and listen to the rain hit the roof above me and thank God for a warm (insert Africa type heat from wood stove) and cozy abode, love shack, home sweet home. I sip hot coffee with a splash of baileys and just work on breathing through a cold kindly shared by coworkers....a friend is set to come and drop off firewood, saving me the time out in the rain bucking up and piling firewood into the truck and back home...

God is good...instead I can stay home... make chicken noodle soup from scratch, a little baking for the week to come, music playing in the background and the scene is complete.

Those soul deep thoughts need no prodding, no inspection nor introspection necessary as the thoughts and feelings swirl beneath and behind...we know by now do we not dear hearts? We know it to be true that emotions, feelings, thoughts all pop to the surface when ready to be dealt with...at times when we least expect or wish or want them to crawl their way to the top to be examined and dissected until it no longer has the ability to knock us out, push us down or crush us flat...

And so I take each moment as it comes and gain more and more joy as each morning dawns...more peace as each day progresses...more love with each passing of the sun into the night sky...

Find your way dear treasures...each of us has our own path to follow, our own journey to walk out, our own race to run...uniquely fashioned for each one of us...so love large, live...truly live life that promotes your peace, your tranquility and healing...leave that toxic sludge they call a relationship that has your feet in the mire and the muck, leaving your heart in pieces on the ground...your spirit crushed beneath their boots....that is not life, that is hell here on earth and there is something more than that for you...truly...

There is life abundant waiting for your journey, for your escape from the pit...

There is love....such love and kindness and compassion...you know what it looks like, what it feels like to give it out...now receive it, take it in and let hope live once more in that barren landscape your heart has become. Receive it and see the green return, see the life giving love that enters your soul once again.

Go with God today and each day forward and may you know your worth....walk proud, stand tall and claim your birthright...loved, accepted, cherished....let your light shine my friends and let the light in... replenishing, life-giving love and compassion....God bless you with courage, with strength, with clarity of mind as you go about your days, your minutes and your hours....blessed, loved, needed...
