Splash...

With a splash I begin my day, with a dash I set action in motion...

No longer content to wait or sit patiently by for others to fight my battle...

No longer content to watch as nothing, nada, zilch is done to correct, to speak from the good book on proper behaviour to a child living, breathing and having their being in an adults body with none of the checks and balances most use to live day to day...

No checks...no consequences for actions...just let the sleeping monster lie, do not disturb...

Yeah...with a splash I take action, ready to pay the price...

With a dash I understand the fight belongs first and foremost to me...

Hands no longer tied by a need to see justice carried out by those who would seek to push to one side, to bind actions, to dictate steps...no longer...

I am so sorry my friends...the justice system is broken...a complete failure to societies women and children living under tyrannical abuse...

From the very same company that failed to protect while under their employ, the failure to employ and discipline and police their own members is the follow up to a vicious circle of lies, of dishonesty and cover-ups...

That one company in charge of Victim Services members who do not understand confidentiality, conflict of interest nor their role to protect, to support...instead they speak words coming from the mouth of the very monster I ran from...speak defamation and destruction.

Women...my dear treasures all....we must make a stand, take back the ground that has been lost somewhere along the way...truly the police force has become lost and buried under paperwork, under politics, under Bureaucracy that ties them to rights for the criminal...and worst of all...laziness, apathy, disinterest.

My heart sits in reflection, my spirit in disbelief, my soul in dismay and sorrow...and yet...

And yet...I know that I am not alone, I stand with loved ones at my back, with forever friends standing in the gap, with a God who never fails and will not start with me...

Here, today, I stand determined to fight...to take the fight to those who would seek destruction...my prayer is that kindness, love, compassion, grace and mercy will guide my steps...even more importantly that wisdom in every moment be my cloak of armour...that weighty words of truth would pour from these lips...

It is time...
