I heard a quote today from a TV series set in Quebec. Three Pines.... A man is being questioned in regards to a woman being murdered in a quaint little rural town. No one liked this woman as she was arrogant and narcissistic. The man, a photographer cataloguing the woman's life, has hidden that he is her lover despite them both being married. Ahhhhh.... It hits home, especially after he is asked why he was trying to destroy pictures of the woman in question.
His response? He did not want his wife to find the pictures.
That while he wasn't in love with his wife anymore, he still respected her. (calling bullshit and apparently the detective does as well). The detective replies.....
Men who sleep around don't respect their wives. *gf's, partners*
They steal their time.
This.... this is part of the grief process...that the men in our lives had so little respect that they didn't care that they were stealing our time away from us, away from the possibility of a real love, a true love, a respectful love, a magical kind of love.
