Sundays...

Ah the beauty of being a woman...complete with emotions, feelers and tears....being blessed with an overthinking gene, all goes into the whirring blender to be thrown against the walls of the mind, concept after concept...thought after recrimination...moments slowing down to be replayed in living technicolor against a blinding backdrop of hindsight....

The most popular term of 'trigger' being coined to describe flashbacks created by sounds and sights, bringing to mind those life events we'd much prefer forgotten...buried...to never visit again. But oh, the brain... mental acuity will pop them to the surface over and over until they are dealt with...released to the heavens...dropped to the dirt where they belong....

Slowly...oh so slowly the reflex muscle that pushes to contain, to protect, is being replaced with a much mightier muscle that pushes, prods, pulls to repair....to take it out of the box buried in the mud, hidden under that boulder...and view it from a distance...with tears of sorrow, with an aching heart for the loss of self...for the loss of potential in someone unwilling to bear up under the pain of self discovery...to bear up under the knowledge of wrong-doings and the horror of actions against those who dare to get close, who demand intimacy, who request kindness and compassion...against those who may make mistakes and hurt them.

And so I shakily stand...feet finding purchase on unfamiliar ground....I stand in purpose, in love, in kindness and compassion...delving deep...oh dear hearts, it is not easy...most times bittersweet and painful, but oh so freeing....I fly on the wings of eagles...sighted on a day out in the heat and beauty of God's creation....I sail, I fly...free of fear...free of anxiety...free of the burden of hate, of criticism, of judgement, of not being enough or too much...free to be me...

All things...all things, my friends, are possible...He is a waymaker, a miracle worker....He made a way for me and He is faithful to make a way for you. Go with God today and live....truly live in His love, His joy, His abundance.

Stand tall warriors...in strength, in courage, in faith take up your sword and fight for what is yours. Speak softly your truth...but speak, there are those who need to hear what you have to say...you are an inspiration, you do not know it...but you inspire those around you with your grace, with your love, with your light. Walk it out dear friends...joy awaits for you.
