We Are Canadian

From Sea to shining Sea,

from coast to coast,

our hearts may look and see,

beauty beyond imagining,

and people with hearts bigger than most.

From the beaches of Normandy,

to the freeing of Netherland communities,

we stand proud and free.

From our First Nations peoples,

to those landing upon our shores,

we breathe free.

From the Rocky Mountains

to wide open grassy plains,

together we stand, hand in hand.

Hearts knit within cold winters,

hot summers, and salty sea air,

we breathe as one.

From Irish, Scottish, English descent,

to Indian, European and worldly influence,

we stand as a Nation of Diversification.

Welcoming refugees and those fleeing

Dictatorships and death,

we stand together against Tyranny.

The 51st state you say?

Assimilate you state, or reap the consequence?

How easy it would seem to some to fall into place, to allow coercion and control, to turn blind eyes to the depravity and cruelty taking up space in the White House.

How easy it would seem to some to give up our country and buy into the lies and deception being constantly and consistently spouted each and every day from a mouth that knows nothing but chaos and privilege.

How is it that there are those who will stand fanatically for a man who represents all that is wrong in this world?

How is that the christian world sees him as a type of saviour, as being used by God to bring radical change to the world at large?

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?

Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Therefore by their fruits you will know them."

From all accounts in history, Hitler looked to be the saviour of Germany and the answer to its poverty.

From all accounts in history, that man showed his true self and yet still there were those who fanatically supported his regime. To the detriment of the country and its peoples.

Not since the time of Hitler and his mission to eradicate Jewish peoples along with christians, those of colour and anyone who opposed him, has the world been this dark.

History is being written at this moment my friends.

In the future, when you look back, will it be with pride of self, or with self loathing for standing for someone so base, so evil, so filled with lies and deceit, you wonder how you were misled?

Where will you stand when friends of colour from other countries are deported, thrown in internment camps, or outright killed?

Where will you stand when innocent people are shot down in their vehicles, making orphans of children?

Where will you stand when you witness the most vile, disgusting videos and pictures shown with these men you uphold? Men who believe anyone over six years of age are

'of age?'

We must stand against Tyranny or lose hope in a world free of rape, of torture, of child snuff films and islands where the rich play games that would set you vomiting, emptying the contents of your stomach.

When is too much, too much?

When is enough, enough?

I heard the quote recently that 'WE ARE NOT ANGRY ENOUGH.'

Truth.

I believe with every fibre of my being that God is ANGRY...

Our children are at risk...

Our families at risk...

We are Canadian....nice people until pushed...

Have we been pushed enough my friends?

Have we seen enough to be angry at the injustices being committed hourly, daily, weekly?

God has granted us a leader with respect, with a firm foundation of values and principles.

Instead of calling him down, speaking negatively when truly how many of us could do better, isn't it time to pray for strength, for wisdom, for understanding?

We may not agree with all his policies or ideologies, however, we may all support him during a time when our great Country is in dire need of leadership and taking a stand against Fascism and coercion.

I am proud to be a Canadian...incredibly proud of such a diverse people within one country.

Respecting all others and their right to worship, their right to dress how they like, live how they wish, all within our borders.

I am proud of our First Nations peoples and their knowledge and wisdom, their strength despite the tragedies they have experienced.

Isn't it time we stand for something bigger than ourselves?
