Wings to Fly...

I have been given wings to fly...given hope...given kindness and compassion...given love beyond compare...

I am consistently and constantly reminded of what is good, of what is lovely and full of grace and joy...from the tiny sparrow visiting for ten minutes last evening round my feet as I sat reading on the deck, to the orange cat come to visit while searching for cool rocks at the river yesterday morning, to the goodbye hugs from the Australian team come to help fight fires, to the meaningful conversation with a bank employee I've never met...a cementing of purpose, of what is right and true...all within one day...blessings abound dear hearts, everywhere we turn we are presented with moments of gladness, presented with moments of joy, of love, of hope for the future.

Today is filled with promise as I set off to visit family, to spend time in company that loves, accepts and cherishes...life building, foundation creating...drops of love in the bucket til it overflows, extending out to all who come in contact...

A day filled with warmth of the sun...with a grateful heart I view all that I have and it is good, it is enough, it is peace, it is freedom from fear and my heart rests...

Dear hearts, it is not always so...at times the heart beats out of rhythm, stutters and stumbles over grief and sorrow...but as surely as the sun rises in the East, so too will your spirit...so too will your soul, your broken pieces...time is your ally...do not give up today, or tomorrow but rise to greet the day with hope in your hearts for joy comes in the morning...it truly does.

Oh, I struggle this morning to impart what resonates deep within my spirit....

There is hope my friends...though the sky may seem dark with storm clouds, with terror and torment raining down upon your heads, there is hope...there is a waymaker, miracle worker, light in the darkness and He is bigger, stronger than what and where and who you are up against....There is a way....There is freedom from fear and loathing, from grief and sorrow, from agony and pain....

I would speak to you of the goodness of God...for He made a way for me...He sustained me in times of trouble of the worst kind...He gave Angels watch over me...I do not speak of the nitty-gritty, the down and dirty, the absolute sheer moments of terror...I would speak of grace, of love, of hope, of forgiveness and mercy....but know this dear hearts, I know your pain...I know of what you experience, what you go through each day and I would declare life over you, I would declare freedom from fear and pray that God would make a way for you....

I would speak of hope for the future....for there is one...

I would speak of joy...for it exists...

I would speak of love beyond measure...for it lives in us, surrounds us....

I would speak of courage....you have it, it waits only for your release...

You are capable of anything you put your mind to...capable, able, and equal to any task....

Go with God today and each day forward, and may you know the love of a Father who never leaves, nor forsakes....He does not fail, nor falter....He does not make mistakes....

You are fearfully and wonderfully made....loved beyond compare....

He runs after the one and leaves the 99...

He seeks after your safety, your happiness, your joy....We have a Father who loves us without judgement....loves where you are... no matter how deep, no matter how far....

Loved without reservation...every part of you....

Go today in the knowledge of His love for you...go in the knowledge of your worth....you are treasures, each one.

Walk tall, stand proud and speak your truth...with grace, with dignity....
