Sore muscles...tired and physically spent by the end of the day...what a wonderful feeling of a job well done, the ultimate form of contentment. The bonus....the views...
The mornings have become a time of quiet solitude and reflection over a hot cup of heaven before diving into braving the elements, spotting animals and beating off lazy bugs coming out of their winter snooze. One healthy shiny black bear, too many deer to count and various patchy moose picking their way through the brush...amidst all this are the sparkling waters opening up through the trees with mountains peeking through in the background.
My lunch breaks are spent perched on a log overlooking God's creation and my heart is full of thankfulness and gratitude for all I see. The quiet...oh the quiet to be found in all this beauty is priceless, precious, perfect.
This, dear hearts, is there for all to enjoy...this is part of the light at the end of the tunnel when we step out of our comfort zone and step in to all God has for us.
Is it scary? yes...each step as though on the deck of a ship in the middle of a storm...the storm rages within and can trip us, delay us, steal from us. Take the helm, set and brace those feet and push on into the storm...no matter the tempest, no matter the fears...there is a joyous life that awaits you just over the horizon. It only awaits your willingness, your determination and perseverance to overcome....in each one of you is a warrior of epic proportions that has been stifled, stilled and stolen from...but dear friends it is there, just itching to be released. Have faith in yourself...God doesn't make mistakes...His plans for you will come to pass. You are loved and desired, wanted and needed....you have been specially made, creatively created for better, for more....for so much more.
Go with God today, and every day...walking in His grace, His peace that passes all understanding, and His comfort and Love to hold you up in your weakest moments...never alone dear hearts...always seen, found and held in the arms of the Father.
